Lincoln Project Makes Appearances at Local Conferences
Researchers from the Lincoln Project recently attended Research and Innovation Day at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and the ENC Big Data Symposium at East Carolina University. These local conferences offer opportunities to present Lincoln findings and explore possibilities for collaboration.
UNCW Research and Innovation Day gathers researchers specializing in Health and Human Services for a series of lectures and poster presentations showcasing innovative health initiatives. Lincoln researchers introduced the novel OHPND cohort and emphasized the need for local health interventions centered on community.
The ENC Big Data Symposium showcases advances in data analytics and its utilization in the research community. The Lincoln Project’s emphasis on geo-spatial analysis as a tool for data analysis and intervention development was the focus of this presentation. Lincoln researchers demonstrated through mapping technology the relationship between socioeconomic status and OHPND.
